Swedish-Jordanian Association's activities


 The association is trying, under our statutes (read statutes under Links!) In various ways to promote relations between Jordan and Sweden. This is done by, among other things, together with the Jordanian consulate in Stockholm follow what is happening between our countries, particularly with regard to cultural and personal contacts. We organize meetings on various American-Jordanian substances.

Report of the Christmas parties December 6:


 Swedish-Jordanian Christmas party December 6 was a great success. Despite rain and vintermörker was a large collection of adults, and many happy children to tie celebration. After mulled wine and food were the culmination when the club champion Lars Svahn live gave us a Selma Lagerlöf-legend about how julrosen came to Sweden. Then came the 12-year-old Linnea Hedin in with candles in their hair as lucia to singing. Our "real Jordanians", the family Qadoumi by Othman, Margareta and young Mona and family Saleh with Iad, wife Raid Taya and children Sarah and Malek, rejoice a little extra.

A meeting was held simultaneously with the Christmas parties, where decisions were taken on two statutes.  

Jordan's new ambassador to Sweden


Jordan's King Abdullah II has appointed a new ambassador to Sweden. His name is Issa Ayyoub, including a former Transport Minister, who resides in Berlin, Germany. He visited during the week 48 Stockholm, to, among other things, submit their credentials to HM King Carl Gustaf XIV. Jordan's consul in Stockholm Mona Henning held a dinner with the Swedish-Jordanian association's board. Our association hopes for a presentation by Ambassador Ayyoub at the next visit.
